Washington, USA: Sajid Tarar, a Pakistani-American entrepreneur and founder of American Muslims for Trump, recently credited Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar for the strengthening of the India-U.S. strategic partnership. Tarar praised their leadership, noting that Dr. Jaishankar’s diplomatic skills have played a key role in redefining India’s global standing.
In an interview with New India Abroad, Tarar emphasized the visibility of India at global events, highlighting the strategic engagement between U.S. officials and India’s representatives, including Dr. Jaishankar. He also expressed confidence in Donald Trump’s political return, asserting that Trump’s leadership would restore America's global prominence, contrasting it with the policies of the Obama and Biden administrations.
Tarar further discussed Trump's foreign policy, criticizing the Biden administration's handling of Afghanistan and its impact on U.S. military resources. He also commented on the Quad alliance’s message to China, underscoring its support for Taiwan and India.
Addressing U.S. relations with Pakistan, Tarar acknowledged that a Republican president could improve ties, given Pakistan’s strategic location. He refuted media narratives, particularly from left-leaning outlets, regarding Trump’s stance on Muslims, stating that many Muslim communities, especially in Michigan, support him due to his position on Gaza.
Looking ahead, Tarar outlined Trump's vision for America, including tackling issues with Russia and China, reviving U.S. infrastructure, and ensuring energy independence. He believes Trump’s policies will lead to economic growth, manufacturing revitalization, and a resurgence of American global dominance, with major investments in artificial intelligence paving the way for a golden era.
