Indian Embassy Invites Participation in Know India Programme (KIP) for Diaspora Youth

The "Know India Programme" (KIP) offers a remarkable opportunity for young members of the Indian diaspora to engage with India and contribute to its transformative future.

Organized by the Ministry of External Affairs, India, the 80th edition of KIP will take place from December 29, 2024, to January 17, 2025, followed by the 81st edition from January 2 to 21, 2025.

This initiative is tailored for individuals aged 21-35, providing them with an immersive experience of India’s contemporary art, culture, and advancements. Participants will also gain valuable insights into government efforts toward building a "Viksit Bharat" (Developed India). A significant portion of the program's costs will be borne by the Indian government.

Aligned with the 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD) Convention, these editions aim to highlight India’s rich heritage, economic progress, and technological achievements.

Minister Jag Mohan emphasized the importance of engaging the Indian diaspora’s youth to maximize their participation in these editions.

Applications for the 80th edition close on December 5, 2024, while the deadline for the 81st edition is December 9, 2024.

For additional details, participants are encouraged to reach out to the Indian Embassy directly.
