Hillsborough Township, New Jersey, USA: A 35-year-old Indian woman, Priyatharsini Natarajan, has been arrested in connection with the deaths of her two young sons, aged five and seven, at their residence in Hillsborough Township. The incident came to light on January 13 when the childrens father returned home from work and found both boys unresponsive.

Emergency Call and Law Enforcement Action

Distressed by the situation, the father immediately dialed 911 and informed officials that his wife had harmed the children. Police officers and emergency medical personnel reached the location at approximately 6:45 pm. Despite their efforts, both children were declared deceased at the scene.

The Somerset County Prosecutors Office stated that preliminary findings suggest the children were killed on the same day. Following the investigation, Natarajan was taken into police custody and formally charged with first-degree murder along with possession of a weapon for illegal use.
