Frontier Airlines flight from Philadelphia to Miami witnessed a disturbing mid-air incident involving a 21-year-old Indian-origin passenger, Ishaan Sharma.

He was taken into custody for reportedly placing co-passenger Keanu Evans in a chokehold during the flight, prompting alarm among crew and passengers.

A viral video captured the chaotic moment as passengers and crew struggled to separate the two men.

According to Evans, Sharma had been acting strangely from the start—laughing eerily and making threatening remarks. Despite warning the flight crew, Evans was later attacked. Both sustained minor injuries.

Sharma’s lawyer later stated the episode was a misinterpreted situation, asserting that his client had been engaged in deep meditation, not intending any harm.

He was charged with battery, given a $500 bond, and barred from contacting Evans. The incident has raised concerns over in-flight violence.
