Pratik Pandey, aged 35 and a software engineer, was found lifeless at Microsoft’s Silicon Valley campus on the evening of August 20.
Colleagues noted he often stayed late at work, and he had arrived at the office the previous evening.
Authorities have not yet determined the cause of death, and an official investigation is in progress.
A San Jose State University graduate, Pandey contributed to Microsoft’s Fabric product and had previously worked with Walmart and Apple.
His passing comes shortly after another tragic incident involving the deaths of four Indian-origin family members in Marshall County earlier this month.
