Indian Student Shot and Killed in Canada During Gunfight at Bus Stop

An Indian student has died in Canada due to gunfire. The incident occurred when the student was waiting at a bus stop to leave for work. Police reported that two car drivers shot at each other, and the bullets hit the Indian student, resulting in her death. The deceased has been identified as Harsimrat Randhawa, a student at Mohawk College in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. The Indian Consulate General expressed condolences on social media and assured that they were in contact with the victim's family and would provide the necessary assistance.

Police have registered a case and are investigating the incident. The shooting occurred around 7:30 PM in the Upper James area of Hamilton. When the police arrived at the scene, they found that the student had been shot in the chest. She was immediately rushed to the hospital but later passed away. CCTV footage revealed that the individuals in a black car fired shots at a white car, which led to the fatal shooting of the student.The gunmen fled the scene, and it was found that a bullet had passed through a window of a nearby house, though no one inside the house was harmed. Police are currently searching for the suspects involved in the shooting.
