Major General Mohammad Bagheri, Iran’s highest-ranking military officer, was killed in an Israeli strike targeting nuclear sites and top military leaders under Operation Rising Lion, confirmed by Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu.
The attack, which occurred early Friday, also killed General Hussein Salami, head of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. Key nuclear sites like the Natanz facility and nuclear scientists were reportedly targeted.
