Four individuals lost their lives early Friday in a tragic incident at The Owl Bar in Anaconda, Montana, prompting an urgent response from local authorities. 

Authorities identified the suspect as 45-year-old Michael Paul Brown, who lived next door. His home was cleared by a SWAT team, but he remains at large, last seen in the Stump Town area.

Authorities sealed off the area, deploying drones and K9 units to comb the dense forest under growing evening shadows. 

Residents and businesses, including a childcare center, went into lockdown. Anaconda, a town of 9,000 southeast of Missoula, was left shaken by the rare violence.
