At least two people were killed and eight others injured in a mass shooting Monday night at Philadelphia’s Fairmount Park. Authorities confirmed that at least two of the injured are minors, though the ages of the deceased remain undisclosed.
The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m., according to 6abc Action News. Earlier that day, the park was crowded with families celebrating Memorial Day. Fairmount Park is one of the world’s largest urban green spaces, spanning over 9,200 acres.
