Ravi Mandalapu Felicitated in USA for Leading AP Science Technology

Jersey City, New Jersey, USA: Ravi Mandalapu, the Chairman of the Andhra Pradesh Academy of Science and Technology, was felicitated by the Non-Resident Indian (NRI) community during a special event held in New Jersey. The gathering witnessed a large turnout of NRIs who celebrated his contributions to science and technology in Andhra Pradesh.

During the ceremony, Ravi Mandalapu addressed the audience, saying, "With the rapid advancement of technology, the world is more connected than ever. In just seconds, we can learn what is happening across the globe. Each new innovation opens doors to possibilities and reshapes human life. Artificial Intelligence is testing the boundaries of human intellect, and it is vital that we leverage these developments to position our state at the forefront." The event commenced with a traditional lamp lighting ceremony, and Mandalapu paid homage by garlanding a statue of NTR. Mannava Subba Rao, former chairman of Guntur Mirchi Yard, was also in attendance.

Speakers at the event lauded Ravi Mandalapu for his role in keeping Andhra Pradesh at the cutting edge of science and technology. They noted that the state’s technological advancements would serve as an inspiration for future generations. Highlighting the abundance of talented and highly educated youth in Andhra Pradesh, they also praised Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for his leadership that nurtures and motivates young innovators.

In his address, Ravi emphasized, "To be the champions of tomorrow, we must embrace the champion mindset today. It is essential to take on global challenges and adapt to swiftly evolving technologies." He further added, "Andhra Pradesh possesses immense natural and human resources. By providing the talented and innovative youth with the right platforms, we can place the state at the forefront globally. Our goal should be to generate wealth through science and technology while tackling unemployment both in the state and across the country."

The event was organized and coordinated by Srinivas Bheemineni, Srinath Rao, and other community leaders. Sridhar Chillara and several prominent members of the Telugu diaspora actively participated. The celebration also featured a variety of cultural programs that entertained the attendees. Around a thousand NRIs attended the occasion.
