TAGB Celebrates Dussehra  Diwali in Boston With Cultural Festivities

Boston, Massachusetts, USA: The Telugu Association of Greater Boston (TAGB) recently hosted celebrations for Dussehra and Diwali in Boston, USA. The festivities took place at Littleton High School on October 11 and drew a large gathering of the Telugu community. The event was overseen by TAGB Board of Trustees Chair Ravi Ankineedu Chowdary and TAGB President Srinivas Gondi. Guests enjoyed a series of cultural programs, with children’s mythological costumes being a highlight. The Dynamite Musical Program added to the entertainment, featuring performances by Aditi Bhavraju, Manisha Errabattina, and Prithvi Chandra.

During the event, the Consul General of India in Boston, S. Raghuram, was honoured by TAGB members. Srinivas Gondi expressed pride in his Telugu heritage, emphasising the significance of the occasion. Founders of TeamAid, Mohan Nannapaneni and Ramesh Bapanapalli, were also recognised for their philanthropic contributions. Speakers commended Mohan for establishing TeamAid to assist people internationally, while Ramesh Bapanapalli’s “Back to School” initiatives have gained wide recognition across the United States.

The evening concluded with a sumptuous dinner for all attendees. Key TAGB members present included President-elect Sudha Mulpur, Secretary Deepthi Koripalli, Treasurer Jagadish Chinnam, Cultural Secretary Surya Telaprolu, along with Members Seshagiri Reddy, Padmavathi Bhimmana, Kalidas Surapaneni, and Ex-Officio Member Deepthi Gora.
