Cumming, Georgia, USA: The North American Telugu Association (TANA) recently hosted its TANA Hike and Connect program at Charleston Park and Lake Lanier in Cumming, Greater Atlanta, on Thursday. The event at Lake Lanier drew enthusiastic participation from TANA members across the region.
Over 200 members joined the 4-mile hike, reflecting the TANA spirit of health, camaraderie, and togetherness. Following the hike, attendees enjoyed a delightful Indian breakfast along with fresh doughnuts and hot coffee, adding to the day’s enjoyment.
The gathering offered a joyful environment for families and friends to bond and have fun. Surrounded by shaded trees, scenic park trails, gentle breezes, and stunning lake views, participants shared memorable moments while walking together. The event also helped foster new friendships among attendees.
The program was organised under the guidance of TANA regional representatives Shekhar Kollu and Madhukar Yarlagadda, with support from TANA Atlanta leaders including Srinivas Lau, Anjaiah Chowdary Lau, Bharat Maddineni, Sunil Devarapalli, Rajesh Jampala, Uppu Srinivas, Sohini Ayyanala, Malathi Naga Bhairava, Arthika Anne, Poolani Jasti, Vinay Maddineni, Koteswara Rao Kandimalla, Yashwanth Jonnalagadda, Naren Nalluri, and others.
Special recognition was given to Rajesh Jampala for designing the hiking route and to Yashwant Jonnalagadda for guiding participants, ensuring a safe and enjoyable hike for all. Organisers also expressed gratitude to volunteers Phani Jammula, Chaitanya Korapati, Pawan, Shiva Naga Thota, and others for their exceptional support.
