TANA’s 80th International Internet Visual Conference, part of the “Telugu Velugu” series, featured the event “Maata Manti with Central Sahitya Akademi Awardees.” TANA President Niranjan Shringavarapu welcomed attendees, while Dr. Prasad Thotakura advocated for extending Central Sahitya Akademi eligibility to Indian-origin writers living overseas, highlighting the rich literary contributions of the global Indian diaspora.
Sahitya Akademi Secretary Krithiventi Srinivasa Rao praised the quality of Telugu literature and encouraged translations and direct submissions from writers.
Notable participants included award-winning authors Dr. Gorati Venkanna, Dr. Madhurantakam Narendra, Dr. Patanjali Sastry, Dr. Elanaga, Penugonda Lakshminarayana, Pamidimukkala Chandrasekhar Azad, and Dr. Turlapati Rajeshwari, who shared highlights of their works.
