Telugu Badi Nebraska 2025 Inauguration: Telugu Samiti Launches New School Year

Omaha, Nebraska, USA: The Telugu Samiti of Nebraska (TSN) inaugurated the 2025–26 academic year of Telugu Badi Nebraska in Omaha last Saturday with great success. Over 150 people attended the event, highlighting their love for the Telugu language and culture.

Organizers expected 30 new admissions this year, but more than 60 children enrolled, making it a proud moment for the Telugu community in Nebraska.

Distinguished guests, including Dr. Phani Tej Adidam, Dr. Chandrakant Are, Dr. Muralidhar Chintapalli, and Mallika Jayanthi, shared motivational messages on the importance of language, tradition, and culture. TSN leaders Raja Komatireddy and Kolli Prasad stressed the benefits of Telugu education and the collaboration with TANA School, which introduced a government-approved curriculum from Andhra Pradesh.

Teachers of Telugu Badi—Venu, Divya Mukhka, Pavithra, Swapna, Veena Madhuri, and Sudheer Lanka—were officially introduced, followed by an interactive Q&A session with parents and students.

The program concluded with special thanks to the TSN executive committee, TANA leadership, parents, children, and volunteers. Event coordination by RJ Jhansi and the efforts of key members ensured the inauguration was a resounding success.
