Fenton, Missouri, USA: The North American Telugu Association (NATS) recently hosted exciting volleyball and throwball tournaments for the Telugu community residing in Missouri. These events took place at Legacy VTC in Fenton, Missouri, under the organisation of the Knots Missouri Division. The energy and enthusiasm displayed by Telugu athletes left a strong impression on sports enthusiasts from the community.
The tournaments were officially inaugurated with the support of Chesterfield City Council member Gary. A total of 25 teams, comprising over 200 players, participated and demonstrated their skills during the competitions. The events highlighted both the sporting spirit and the close-knit camaraderie of the Telugu community in Missouri.
Key figures from the Missouri Chapter of NATS, Knots celebrities, and community members played a vital role in ensuring the success of the tournaments. NATS Board Director Ramesh Bellam, former NATS President and current Board Director Srinivas Manchikalapudi, NATS Missouri Chapter Coordinator Sandeesh Kollipara, along with former Telugu Association of St. Louis President Surendra Bachina, Madhusudan Daddala, and Murali Bandarupalli, oversaw the smooth conduct of the event. Valuable contributions also came from Tarun Divi, Chaitanya Puchakayala, Sankeerth Katkam, Rakesh Reddy Marupati, Sunil Swarna, Harish Gogineni, Naresh Rayankula, Naveen Kommineni, Srinivas Sistla, and others. Volunteers from NATS dedicated their time and effort, further supporting the event.
Trophies Awarded to Champions
Trophies were presented to the winners and runners-up in five categories, celebrating the achievements of the players. NATS leaders commended the commitment and talent of all participants. NATS Chairman Prashant Pinnamaneni and NATS President Srihari Mandadi extended their gratitude to everyone who contributed to making the Missouri Division Volleyball and Throwball tournaments a memorable success.
