Texas Flash Floods Kill 109, Over 160 Still Missing

At least 109 people have lost their lives, and more than 160 remain missing after devastating flash floods struck Texas, with Kerr County’s notorious “Flash Flood Alley” bearing the worst of the destruction.

Among the deceased are 27 young girls and camp counselors, tragically caught as powerful floodwaters swept through riverside cabins while they slept during the night of July 4.

Rescue efforts using helicopters and dogs are ongoing but face severe obstacles. New Mexico’s Ruidoso also declared an emergency as rivers surged.

President Trump will visit on Friday amid rising concerns over the federal response and weather service staffing.
