Texas Incident Involving Indian National Sparks Outrage Over Immigration

Dallas, Texas, USA: The US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has strongly condemned the tragic loss of life of Indian national Chandra Nagamalliah in Texas, calling it a tragedy that “should never have happened.” The agency alleged that the suspect, Yordanis Cobos-Martinez, a Cuban national, should not have been allowed to remain in the country.

In a statement posted on X, DHS revealed that the victim was brutally attacked at a motel, in front of his wife and child. The accused allegedly carried out the assault in a gruesome manner and then further desecrated the remains. “This horrifying act of violence was fully preventable. The suspect, a criminal illegal alien, was released into the US because Cuba refused to take him back. This failure by the Biden administration allowed a violent predator to remain in America,” the department said.

Officials further stressed that the incident highlights the urgent need for stricter actions against undocumented immigrants with prior criminal records. “This is why we are prioritizing the deportation of dangerous foreign criminals to third countries. President Trump and Secretary Noem have made it clear that individuals who enter illegally will not be permitted to stay — they could be relocated to nations like Eswatini, Uganda, South Sudan, or CECOT,” the post continued.

Trump’s Reaction – Blames Biden Administration

Former President Donald Trump expressed outrage over the tragedy and promised that the suspect would face prosecution for serious criminal charges. Posting on Truth Social, Trump described the victim as “a highly respected individual in Dallas, Texas,” who suffered a “brutal and horrifying” fate.

Trump strongly criticized Joe Biden’s administration, accusing it of allowing Cobos-Martinez into the country despite his prior convictions. “This man had a history of terrible crimes, including child abuse, vehicle theft, and unlawful detention. But instead of being deported, he was released into our nation by incompetent Joe Biden because Cuba refused to accept him,” Trump wrote.

Vowing strict enforcement, Trump declared: “The era of being lenient toward criminal illegal immigrants is over under my leadership. This dangerous offender, now in custody, will face the maximum penalty under US law.”

Public Outrage in Texas

The shocking incident has sparked widespread anger across Texas, igniting renewed debate on US immigration policies, deportation procedures, and the handling of undocumented immigrants with criminal backgrounds.
