U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed that Israel has agreed to key terms for a proposed 60-day ceasefire in Gaza. The temporary truce is intended to create space for broader efforts to resolve the ongoing conflict.

In a statement shared on social media, Trump emphasized that the final proposal would be delivered by Qatar and Egypt, two nations actively involved in mediation. “This is a real chance for peace. I urge Hamas to accept the deal, it won’t get better than this,” he wrote.

At the same time, Israeli Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer was in Washington, engaging in key discussions with top U.S. leaders, including Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio.Discussions centered on the ceasefire framework and regional stability.

The proposal is being positioned as a potential turning point in efforts to end hostilities in the region.
