US President Donald Trump launched a new voluntary deportation program named "Project Homecoming," providing complimentary flights for undocumented immigrants who decide to exit the country.  Trump signed an executive order to make it easier for undocumented migrants to self-deport.

Through the CBP Home app, illegal immigrants can book flights to any country, excluding the US. Trump also announced an “exit bonus” to incentivize self-deportation, claiming the program will save taxpayers billions. Those who stay in the US unlawfully will encounter harsh consequences, such as imprisonment, hefty fines, and possible expulsion.
