Donald Trump has confirmed that the 90-day suspension on tariffs will officially conclude on July 9, with no plans for an extension. Countries without US trade deals will soon receive tariff notices.
India-US trade talks are in the final stages, with a preliminary deal expected soon and a broader agreement by October.
Trump warned that tariffs could range from 10% to 50% based on how nations treat the US. Trump also cut off trade discussions with Canada in response to its 3% digital services tax targeting major US tech companies.
The US is also negotiating with the EU, Japan, and others for new trade agreements.
