President Trump signed the $3.4 trillion “Big Beautiful Bill” on July 4, extending tax cuts, slashing welfare, and boosting immigration enforcement.
It passed with full GOP support, except for two Republicans. The bill cuts $1.2 trillion from Medicaid and food stamps, ends taxes on tips and Social Security, and rolls back health and climate policies.
