Trump and Harris Rally Voters in Key Battleground States Ahead of 2024 Election Showdown

Trump and Harris Campaign in Key Battleground States

With just over two weeks remaining until the 2024 presidential election, Donald Trump and Kamala Harris are actively campaigning in crucial battleground states.

Early Voting Begins in Battleground Wisconsin, Supported by Obama and Walz

In-person early voting begins Tuesday in battleground Wisconsin, where former President Barack Obama and Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Walz are hosting a rally in liberal Madison. Meanwhile, Republicans are organizing events to encourage voters to support Donald Trump before Election Day.

In the 2020 election, Trump lost Wisconsin by fewer than 21,000 votes, an election marked by unprecedented early and absentee voting due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Both Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris anticipate another closely contested race in Wisconsin, prompting both parties to encourage early voting.

Previously, Trump was outspoken against mail-in voting, inaccurately claiming it was fraught with fraud. However, in this election cycle, he and his supporters are now embracing all voting methods, including mail-in and early in-person voting. At a rally in Dodge County, Wisconsin, earlier this month, Trump even promoted early voting.

Harris is scheduled to discuss her plan to reduce costs, enhance homeownership opportunities, and expand job prospects for Latino men in an interview she will record on Tuesday in Washington with Telemundo, a Spanish-language television network. The campaign reports that Harris, along with her running mate Tim Walz and her husband Doug Emhoff, will be conducting interviews with various Hispanic media outlets this week to effectively convey her message to Latino men.
