Kabul: Afghanistan experienced a 5.1 magnitude earthquake on Sunday evening, as reported by the National Center for Seismology (NCS). The seismic event took place at 4:50 p.m. and was registered at a depth of 15 km, according to NCS. In a post on X, the NCS provided details of the earthquake, stating, "Earthquake magnitude: 5.1, Date and Time: 18-02-2024, 16:50:32 IST, Latitude: 36.68, Longitude: 66.75, Depth: 15 km, Location: Afghanistan."
