London, TAAL: The Telugu Association of London (TAAL) organized a grand Children's Day celebration at the Borough of Hounslow, Feltham Assembly Hall in London. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 500 attendees, including students from the TAAL Cultural Centre (TCC) and other children who showcased their talent through music and traditional dance performances. A short play focusing on environmental protection captivated the audience, delivering an informative and inspiring message to both children and adults.
To promote the Telugu language, competitions were held for children, and winners were awarded prizes during the event.
Councillor Karen Smith, the Mayor, attended as the chief guest and lauded TAAL's efforts in preserving culture and organizing various events throughout the year. She extended special appreciation to the cultural team for curating such a vibrant and meaningful celebration.
Culture Trustee Sridevi Aleddula expressed gratitude to the cultural team members and Roy Boppa for their contributions to the event's success. She also commended the participants, noting how individuals of all ages enthusiastically came together to lead and support the program, setting an inspiring example for the younger generation.
Trustee Ashok Madisetty highlighted the training programs offered by the TAAL Cultural Centre to promote Telugu language and culture. The event was graced by Chairman Ravi Saba, alongside other trustees, including Anil Ananthula, Kiran Kappetta, Venkat Neela, and Ravi Mocherla, who extended their support to make the occasion memorable.
