Fraudsters are spoofing the Embassy and Consulate phone numbers to deceive people, seeking personal information or extorting money by claiming issues with visas, passports, or immigration forms. The Embassy/Consulate does not make such calls or ask for personal details over the phone. Any official communication will be via email from the domain @mea.gov.in. The public is advised not to respond to suspicious calls and to report them to the Consulate via email at cons.atlanta@mea.gov.in. If you have information on spoofed calls, please fill out the form and send it to the Consulate.
