Dinuba, California, USA: A 50-year-old Indian national who is allegedly living illegally in the United States has been charged with distributing wholesale quantities of methamphetamine from a pizza restaurant he operated in Dinuba, California.

U.S. Attorney Eric Grant announced the charges last week following a federal investigation into organized crime networks operating in California’s Central Valley.

According to court records, the man, identified as Singh, allegedly operated a Round Table Pizza restaurant in Dinuba, where authorities say he conducted wholesale methamphetamine sales. Investigators also allege that he was armed with illegal firearms while carrying out the activity.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) identified Singh during an investigation targeting Indian organized crime in the region.

On August 18, 2026, federal agents executed search warrants at Singh’s residence and business. Authorities said they seized more than 40 pounds of methamphetamine, three firearms and over $10,000 in cash during the searches.

Singh has been charged with distribution of methamphetamine, possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, and possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug traffcking crime.

If convicted, he faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years and up to life in prison on the drug-related charges, along with a maximum fine of $10 million. The firearm charge carries an additional mandatory minimum sentence of five years, which must be served consecutively to any other sentence.

The charges are allegations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
