Doha, Qatar: The 9th World Telugu Literary Conference, a significant milestone in the history of global Telugu literature, concluded successfully on November 22-23, 2024, in Doha, Qatar.
Jointly organized by the Vanguri Foundation of America and Andhra Kala Vedike, the event marked the first-ever Telugu literary conference held in the Middle East and earned a place in the 'Telugu Book of Records.'
Former Vice President of India, Venkaiah Naidu, graced the occasion as the chief guest, and India's Ambassador to Qatar, Shri Vipul, was also in attendance.
They praised the organizers for their efforts. Around 200 enthusiasts of Telugu language and literature from 10 countries, including the US, India, Uganda, and Gulf nations, participated in the two-day event.
Highlights of the conference included over 60 literary speeches spanning 18 hours, 30 poetry
