A Bangladesh Air Force F-7 BGI training jet went down in the Uttara area of Dhaka on Monday afternoon, claiming one life and leaving four others injured.
Moments after taking off, the aircraft lost control and went down, leading to a rapid deployment of emergency teams to the scene.
The aircraft took off at approximately 1:06 PM and lost contact shortly thereafter. Around 1:30 PM, it crashed into the rooftop of the Milestone College canteen in Diabari, triggering panic in the surrounding neighborhood.
Emergency responders arrived swiftly at the scene to rescue the injured and secure the area.
Officials have initiated a probe to uncover what led to the aircraft's crash. A team of experts is examining the circumstances surrounding the incident to identify the root cause.
