Houston, Texas, USA: As part of the ‘Consulate@YourDoorStep’ outreach initiative, the Consulate General of India in Houston is set to host a special one-day consular camp in San Antonio, Texas, on September 20.
This event, organized in collaboration with the Indian Association of San Antonio (IASA), is designed to make consular services more accessible to the Indian community in the region. The camp will operate from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at 9114 Mehlmer Wind St., San Antonio. Applicants must complete and submit their forms in advance through the VFS Global online portal before visiting the camp.
Services for U.S. Passport Holders of Indian Origin:
New and renewal of OCI Card applications and other OCI-related services (verification & submission)
Emergency Visa applications (verification & submission)
Renunciation of Indian citizenship applications (verification & submission)
Services for Indian Passport Holders:
Renewal of Indian Passports
Global Entry Program (GEP) applications
Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) applications
Additionally, Indian passport holders can also avail miscellaneous services such as:
Attestation of affidavits and documents
Issuance of certificates, including NRI Certificate, Life Certificate, and No Objection Certificate (NOC) for transporting mortal remains
Other standard consular support services
This outreach program aims to provide Indian nationals and people of Indian origin a convenient platform to access essential consular facilities and interact directly with officials from the Consulate General of India, Houston.
Participation in the camp requires mandatory prior registration by all attendees.
