Indian Gang War Erupts in Portugal Lawrence Bishnoi Ally Claims Shooting

Lisbon, Portugal: A video circulating on social media, allegedly showing a shooting incident in Portugal, has raised serious concerns about the spread of Indian gang rivalries overseas. Randeep Malik, also known as Randeep Singh, has claimed that he ordered the attack on the hideout of the Romi and Prince gang after they ignored his warnings to quit illegal activities.

Malik, who is wanted by India's National Investigation Agency (NIA) and is believed to be a close aide of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, made the claim through a Facebook post. The video of the firing incident is also being widely shared online.

In his post, Malik wrote: "RIP Ankit Bhadu Sherewala, Jitendra Gogi, Goldie Dhillon, Kala Rana, Arzoo Bishnoi, Shubham Lonkar, Sahil Duhan Hisar..." naming several slain gangsters.

The shootout reportedly took place in Odivelas, Lisbon, marking the first significant gang war in Portugal linked to Indian criminal networks. Malik further warned that those who refuse his calls to stop unlawful business will be directly targeted. Authorities suspect Romi and Prince of being involved in narcotics smuggling.

This attack adds to the growing list of violent operations by Bishnoi's syndicate on foreign soil. Recently, the gang had allegedly opened fire at comedian Kapil Sharma's cafe in Canada. They are also accused of killing rival gang leader Sonu Chittha and eliminating terrorist Sukha Dooni in Canada in 2024.

Interestingly, Malik himself was detained by the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) last month but later released. His name also surfaced in the November 2024 twin explosions outside two clubs in Chandigarh—Seville Bar and Lounge (owned by rapper Badshah) and De Orra Club. Soon after the blasts, Goldy Brar, another Bishnoi associate, claimed responsibility through Facebook, with Malik allegedly carrying out the attack on Brar's instructions.
