Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun threatened Kapil Sharma after an attack on his Kap’s Cafe in British Columbia, accusing him of spreading Hindutva under the guise of business.
The attack, linked to Babbar Khalsa International, involved gunfire but no injuries.
Pannun, in a video, warned that Canada won't allow Hindutva ideology. BKI terrorist Harjit Singh Laddi claimed responsibility; India’s NIA announced a ₹10 lakh reward for his capture.
Despite the incident, Kap’s Cafe pledged to stay open and continue welcoming the community. The incident reflects a growing pattern of Khalistani-linked violence targeting Indian-origin figures abroad.
