Cleveland, Ohio, USA: The Ohio Chapter successfully held its first fundraising program in Cleveland under the banner of Sankara Nethralaya U.S.A., titled “Echoes of Compassion – Where Arts Meet Heart.” The event took place on Saturday, December 13, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Medina Performing Arts Center (Middle Stage) in Medina, Ohio, and marked a significant milestone for the Ohio Chapter.

Led by Ms. Kalyani Veturi of the Ohio State Cultural Committee, the program brought together music and classical dance institutions from the Greater Cleveland area in support of Sankara Nethralaya’s mission to provide quality eye care. The evening featured a captivating blend of classical music and traditional Indian dance forms, with each performance receiving warm appreciation and enthusiastic applause from the audience.

Despite severe blizzard conditions, the event proceeded smoothly, drawing over 150 community members and reflecting strong unity and commitment. Bharat Patel, Founder of India Fest USA, attended as the Special Guest. The program highlighted the power of art and culture in serving a humanitarian cause, while SNUSA leadership expressed sincere gratitude to all organizers, artists, volunteers, and supporters for their valuable contributions.
