Tomorrowland Hit By Major Fire Ahead Of Opening

A massive fire engulfed the iconic main stage of Tomorrowland in Boom, Belgium, just two days before the festival’s kickoff.

A sudden fire erupted during pyrotechnic testing, engulfing and destroying the Tomorrowland "World of Orbyz" main stage in Boom, Belgium, just before the festival's grand opening.

Approximately 1,000 crew members were safely evacuated, and no injuries occurred.

Fire crews from Boom and nearby Antwerp acted swiftly to bring the fire under control, preventing further damage.

Though the main stage was lost, organisers confirmed the festival and DreamVille campsite will go ahead as planned, welcoming 38,000 attendees. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
