Trump And EU Finalize Major Trade Agreement

A major trade deal was signed between the United States and the European Union (27 countries), announced by President Donald Trump.

The accord reached its conclusion during high-level discussions between him and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, held in Scotland.

As part of the finalized agreement, a baseline tariff of 15% will apply to all European Union exports entering the United States.

The EU committed to investing $600 billion in the US and purchasing $750 billion worth of goods.

Ursula stated that the EU will buy LNG, oil, and nuclear fuel from the US over the next three years to reduce reliance on Russian energy sources.
