Donald Trump has asked Attorney General Pam Bondi to request court approval to release grand jury transcripts from the Jeffrey Epstein case, calling the investigation a “Democrat scam.”
In a new development, Pam Bondi confirmed that the Justice Department is set to formally request court approval on July 18 to make the grand jury proceedings publicly accessible.
The move follows backlash from Trump supporters after the DOJ dismissed conspiracy theories about Epstein’s 2019 death.
Epstein, a convicted sex offender, died in jail while awaiting trial on trafficking charges.
