Washington: US President Donald Trump hinted that a deal has been finalized on the future of TikTok in the US.
Without naming the app, he said talks with Chinese officials were positive and that an agreement had been reached for a company most popular among American youth.
Trump added he would speak with Chinese President Xi Jinping on Friday.
TikTok, owned by ByteDance, remains a global favorite among young users.
