Massachusetts, Boston, USA: Mohammed Wajid, a young political leader from Hyderabad studying in the United States, tragically lost his life in a road accident in Massachusetts. His vehicle collided with a truck, and his family is now heading to the US for his final rites.
The 28-year-old was pursuing higher education in Chicago when he met with a fatal accident in Plymouth, Massachusetts. The crash occurred on Tuesday evening (local time), which was early Wednesday morning in India.
As per reports, Wajid was behind the wheel when he failed to stop at an intersection, resulting in a collision with a truck. He suffered fatal injuries and passed away at the scene. Authorities believe adverse weather conditions, including dense fog and poor visibility, played a role in the accident.

Beyond being a student, Wajid was also an active political figure. He was a prominent member of the Youth Congress in Hyderabad’s Khairatabad division and held a position in the NRI Minority Congress Committee in the US.
His grieving family is scheduled to fly to the US on Thursday to perform his final rites.
