Elon Musk weighed in on the interview, criticizing the mainstream media for what he perceives as a coordinated narrative. He referred to media outlets as "puppets" and suggested they follow a single script, echoing sentiments shared by other commentators. Musk's comments were in response to a post by a citizen journalist highlighting the uniform media coverage of Harris’s interview, which outlets described as "testy."

 The similarities in reporting from various sources, including CNN, NPR, and The Guardian, prompted Musk to call attention to the lack of diverse viewpoints in mainstream media, further fueling the debate over media influence in the political landscape.
