Astronauts Sunita Williams And Butch Wilmore Confident In Starliner Return Despite Challenges

Astronauts Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore, currently aboard the International Space Station (ISS), expressed confidence on Wednesday in their safe return to Earth aboard Boeing's 'Starliner,' despite encountering several issues.

Williams and Wilmore launched Starliner's inaugural manned mission on June 5th.

They faced challenges, including leaking helium gas and thruster failures, making docking with the ISS difficult.

Originally scheduled to return after eight days, they have remained on the ISS due to rocket problems.

In a press conference from the ISS, the astronauts mentioned that they would return after the thrusters were tested.

Despite the extended stay, they enjoy assisting fellow astronauts. "My mind tells me that the Starliner will take us to Earth.

"There's no issue," Sunita Williams told the reporters.
