Charity Controversy: Missing $6 Million from Prince Harry and Meghans Archewell Foundation

USA, California: A charity scandal has emerged involving Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, revealing a discrepancy of over $6 million in their Archewell Foundation. Recent filings with the Internal Revenue Service show that the foundation has not accounted for this significant amount. In 2021, Archewell reported earnings exceeding $13 million but disclosed only just over $2 million for 2022.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are now under scrutiny regarding this charitable issue. For the fiscal year 2022-2023, two organizations reported donations to Archewell: Fidelity Charitable stated it donated $6 million, while TisBest Philanthropy mentioned a grant of $10,050. However, Archewell claims to have received just two anonymous grants of $1 million each, leading to inconsistencies in the reported amounts. These discrepancies may be related to the timing of the grant distributions. Clarification on this situation is expected in Archewell's forthcoming financial report, scheduled for submission on November 15, 2024, but the current inconsistencies have raised alarms.

An insider told Radar Online that since stepping back from their royal duties, Harry and Meghan's initiatives have increasingly encountered challenges. They speculated that these issues might stem from incompetence rather than a deliberate attempt to mislead, although this perception does little to enhance the couple's public standing or attract potential investors to their business endeavors. Moreover, it has been reported that the couple failed to submit their annual report and renewal fees to the State of California.
