Chicago, USA: The North American Telugu Association (NATS), known for its numerous initiatives supporting the Telugu community in America, continues its tradition of celebrating children's festivals annually. This year, the children's festival was successfully organized in Chicago, coinciding with the birth anniversary of India’s first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru.

As part of the celebrations, various competitions were held to nurture and showcase the creativity and talent of Telugu students. Over 150 children participated, presenting cultural and creative performances. The events included Telugu lecture competitions, a math bowl, art contests, fancy dress displays, and captivating dance performances, providing a platform for young talents to shine.

Several representatives from Telugu organizations attended the event as special guests and presented awards to the winners in different categories, commending the children's impressive skills. Veera Takkelapati, the Chicago Chapter Coordinator, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the advisors, volunteers, judges, parents, and especially the children for making the event a grand success.

NATS President Madan Pamulapati lauded the teamwork and dedication that contributed to the event's success, while NATS Board Chairman Prasanth Pinnamaneni congratulated everyone involved for their efforts.

Special acknowledgments were given to Roja for organizing the Telugu lecture competition, Havela, Siri Priya, Bharathi Kesanakurthy, and Chandrima Dadi for conducting the Math Bowl, Bindu for coordinating dance performances, Kiranmayi Gudapati for the art competition, and Lakshmi for managing the fancy dress competition.

The national leadership of NATS extended their thanks to the Chicago Chapter Coordinators Narendra Kadiyala, Anjaiah Vellore, Srinivas Ekurthi, Eshwar Vadlamannati, and Mahesh Kilaru, along with dedicated volunteers Madhuri Patibandla, Bindu Balineni, Ravi Balineni, Ram Kesanakurthy, Srinivas Pilla, Pandu Chengalashetty, Nawaz, and Gopi.

The Chicago NATS team also expressed gratitude to the NATS Board of Directors, including Srinivas Pidikti, Executive Committee members R.K. Balineni, Harish Jammula, Emmanuel Neela, Kiran Mandadi, Ravi Thummala, Kishore Nare, Murali Medicherla, Rajesh Kandru, former Board members Murthy Koppaka, Mahesh Kakarla, Srinivas Arasada, and Srinivas Boppana, for their contributions to the event.

The organizers extended a special thank-you to everyone who worked tirelessly to make the children's festival a memorable celebration of talent and creativity.
