Before the Swaminarayan temple incident was forgotten, pro-Khalistani graffiti on another Hindu temple in America came to light. The Hindu American Foundation (HAF) revealed that Khalistani graffiti slogans were defaced on Friday at the local Hindu Vijay Sherawali Temple in Hayward, California. Pro-Khalistan slogans were written on the board related to the Vijay Sherawali temple saying 'Modi terrorist... Khalistani Zindabad'.

However, HAF said that the incident was brought to the notice of Vijay Sherawali temple authorities and Alameda police. Ammeda police said that they are investigating the incident. It is known that on December 23, 2023, the incident of writing pro-Khalistani slogans with graphite on the Swaminarayan temple in America came to light.
