Las Vegas: Indian-origin boy Pinjala Anirudh Kalyan shined with a silver medal in the prestigious Las Vegas Shoot International Archery Tournament. Anirudh's family hails from the Langerhouse area of Hyderabad and lives in America.
Anirudh, who represented America in the two-day tournament in Las Vegas, competed in the recurve cub category and stood second. Anirudh scored a total of 547 points and won the silver. Andhra Pradesh star Vennam Jyoti Surekha, who represented the Indian team in the same tournament, stood at the tenth rank with 898 points.
